Wizz Air Pilot Assessment

The Wizz Air pilot assessment is a demanding process in which you will have to demonstrate your core pilot competencies. The selection stages include:

• Submitting a CV & cover letter
• Day 1 – 60 question technical, company knowledge & maths test
• Day 1 – Group exercise
• Day 1 – HR, technical and scenario interview
• Day 2 – Simulator assessment
• Day 2 – Symbiotics psychometric assessment

Candidates not successful at part of the assessment, will not continue to the next phase, so if you aren’t successful at the group exercise and technical test on day one, you will not proceed to the interview that day.

What Interview Questions Can I Expect?

Wizz Air pilot interview questions have always been focussed about your knowledge of the company, motivation to work for them and ATPL/technical knowledge. Examples being:

• Why do you want to work for Wizz Air?
• Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
• What would you do if a Captain wasn’t following SOPs?
• Tells us about the systems on the last type you flew e.g. electrical system on the DA42
