The AirlinePrep 2022 Bursary

We are delighted to introduce our bursary programme which will fund one applicant £1000 towards your flight training, providing you’re a trainee pilot who is currently undergoing flight training in the UK!
Why are we doing this?
We’ve been helping and supporting pilots achieve their career goals for 10 years, and we thought a great way to celebrate this would be to help someone financially achieve their flying ambitions. Over the last 10 years, we’ve used our group courses, 1:1 courses , CV & cover letter services and our app to support cadet, current and military pilots prepare and be successful at airline and flight school assessment processes. In our ten years we’ve helped over 3000 pilots prepare for pilot selection, designed and delivered recruitment solutions and have offered free, impartial and well researched training advice to clients. It has been our absolute pleasure to do this and we want to continue to do the right thing by supporting someone who might really need our help.
How do you apply?
You just have to fill in our application form and answer a few questions! Once applications have been reviewed, ten applicants will be invited to a short interview process after which someone will be selected.
What’s the catch?
Nothing – our offer is quite simple! The only thing we ask is that you meet the following criteria:
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must be a UK resident.
- Must follow us on social media – you can follow us now by clicking our social media links: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Modular pilot applicants: Must have a current PPL or have passed your skills test (and awaiting your PPL to be issued) and working towards a f/ATPL (CPL/IR).
- Integrated pilot applicants: Must have completed your ATPL ground school.
- Must be prepared to engage in some promotional activity – articles, social media etc.
How does it work and are there runner up bursaries?
Once selected, the winning recipient of the AirlinePrep bursary will receive £1000 towards the cost of their flight training. We will pay this amount directly to a UK based training provider of your choice!
We believe this is the most flexible and relevant cadet bursary available today, allowing you – the recipient – to choose how the money is spent. You might like to put it towards your hour building, ATPL Groundschool, or even your CPL and IR flight training. Its completely up to you – and when you’ve decided, we will pay your chosen provider directly. The only thing we ask is that this transaction takes place within 3 months of being selected.
They’ll also be two awards for the runners up! Second place will receive a place on one of our industry leading airline pilot interview and assessment preparation group courses. Third place will receive a years subscription to the AirlinePrep App!
